Do I need life insurance if I already have it through my employer?
In most cases, yes. Employer-provided coverage is typically limited (often 1-2x your salary) and may not be portable if you change jobs. Having an individual policy ensures adequate coverage based on your actual needs, continuity regardless of employment changes and greater control over policy structure and beneficiaries.
